My real estate career…it all started with the land! I am a farmer’s daughter raised on a grain and livestock farm in rural Clinton County Indiana, and along with my experience as a 10 year 4-Her and member of the #1 FFA Chapter in Indiana have sewn my roots deep into Indiana.
Married for over 30 years, my husband Rex and I have raised our children with the same respect for Indiana’s wealthy land. In 1996, I obtained my Real Estate Salespersons license to assist our family farm with acquiring new opportunities, gain a greater understanding of real estate laws and ultimately my goal to assist buyer’s and seller’s with getting the best of what they are investing in or have a goal to invest.
My unconventional path to real estate…As co-owner of a Purebred Swine operation, I acquired an opportunity to work for the legendary feed company Purina Mills, Inc. as Director of Retail Sales. Following the sale of this great company I joined Indiana’s Department of Agriculture and served as the Director of Livestock Promotion and Valued Added Research. This opportunity introduced me to multiple levels of Indiana’s farm, livestock and leadership organizations. In 2000, as a member of the Board of Directors for the Indiana 4-H Foundation, I met one of the owners of Davis Homes which launched me into the real estate career I proudly represent today.
Following a 6-year career with Davis Homes, I joined the management team of nationally recognized Centex Homes as the Division Business Development Manager. I loved the new home aspect of real estate however I thought it was time that I used my knowledge of all residential opportunities. My husband and I became independent franchise co-owners of a local Century 21 Real Estate company.
A great personal opportunity came along in 2014. I joined the Keller Williams Realty Family. Keller Williams is the #1 Real Estate Company in agent count and volume in the country! Not to mention the award-winning training and coaching offered to all agents, KW is a market leader in buyer and seller real estate transactions. Within a few months I accepted the position as CEO/Team Leader of the KW Indy Metro West office.
In January of 2018, after 4 years of hiring and coaching over 236 agents, I decided to step away from my role in leadership and join a nationally ranked team. The Indy Property Source, lead by team owner Christopher Price, offered me the opportunity to Productivity Coach, which allows me to combine my love of coaching Realtors and my ability to reconnect to my love of helping Buyers and Sellers.
After 24 years in real estate…2018 is the year that combines the culmination of my experience and unconventional path into real estate.
It is my sincere desire to help you and your family achieve your home ownership or home sales goals, or better yet achieve the best return on your investment possible!
